This is from the lady that runs Crossfit South San Clemente. This is why I do Crossfit...sometimes I need a reminder.
CrossFit makes women big, and eating fat makes you fat. Didn't you know? Actually not so much, these are just common misconceptions. Working out with intensity on a regular basis with loads to which you're probably not accustomed won't make you too big for your britches. But those same workouts will make you fitter, leaner and healthier. The women pictured here have to had to make DRAMATIC changes to their diets and ways of life; changes that aren't conducive to the layperson, and may possibly include taking unnatural supplements. You are NOT going to look like this because you add ten pounds to your deadlift or increase your Fight Gone Bad Score by 20 points. And to be honest, it all comes down to genetics. Don't worry about the scale. It's an irrelevant number. Be concerned with your ability to move efficiently and effectively. Can you pick up your kids without hurting your back? Can you carry the groceries into the house with ease? These are the things that shoud be weighing on your mind.
