Yes, we began crossfit a few days ago in the backyard. The day after my first workout I couldn't walk or much of anything. We've had a few workouts, and I don't feel as bad, but it still kicked my butt. To give you an idea of what a typical workout is, this is what we did today:
400 meter run
25 sit ups
25 good mornings (with a bar on your shoulders, you bend over until you're parallel with the ground, then come back up. It's supposed to be a weight bar with weights on it. I did it with my broom stick) :-)
You do this 3 times. Yes, 3 times. Scott built some pull-up bars and got them in the back yard yesterday. A big part of crossfit is core training, which is why we have pull-up bars. If I'm ever able to do one pull-up, I'll be the happiest girl on the planet.
If you want to join us, let me know. We workout on Scott's days' off, which are random, but I can give you a better idea if you're interested. The workout of the day only lasts 20 minutes, but I promise it's a hard 20 minutes.

And I feel the same way, if I can get to where I can do 1 pull up, I will be pretty dang happy.
I'll do it with ya...I'd have kids in tow though. Do you do it in the mornings? I usually only have one daycare kid between 9-1 when Ethan is gone to school. =)
